The Syma X8G has an Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC) function allowing the pilot utilize the headless utility, which is especially useful for beginning pilots. Its 6-axis gyro provides for better stability as well as the ability to perform 360 degree inversions.
It comes standard with a 5MP 1080p video/still camera in a special housing that mounts below the quad for a great view angle for both stills and HD video. The camera is remotely controlled by the transmitter and is also capable of being manually switched to 720p if desired. The housing is sized to permit a GoPro camera to be utilized instead of the included camera.
There is some minor assembly required out of the box, but it doesn?t take long to do so and it?s well worth it. The X8G is well-built, sturdy, and can take a pretty good beating by beginner pilots. An extra set of blades and blade protectors are included! The transmitter is capable of both Mode 1 and Mode 2 operations.
